After studying Illustration at university, Cora went into the world of design and branding that took her from the English countryside to the sunny shores of Australia and a few places in between. Throughout this time, she honed her skills of understanding your audience and art of storytelling.

After 15 years of working in design, Cora was able to bring her illustration experience back to the forefront through a number of branding projects and shortly afterwards began work on her first illustrated book with Hardie Grant Publishing. She loves to inject humour and warmth into her illustrations (both analogue and digital), being inspired by her children and their wild imaginations.

Cora now lives south west of London, never far from a chamomile tea and her sketchbooks.

When she isn’t busy illustrating or designing, Cora loves crafting with her kids, getting lost in a good book and walking in the countryside. She also loves to garden, but is still mastering the key skill of keeping plants alive.
